Silk is an ancient, noble type of textile, a soft and shiny natural material. It gently, sensitively enlivens colours, colour-gradients, as well as patterns, be it a scarf, a painting or a home textile.
The main inspiration for my work I receive from the forms and colours of nature, so the living, constantly changing flora is given a special role in my works, but abstract shapes and gradients also nicely come to life in them.
My silks are made individually on 100% caterpillar silk, hand-painted, made by me from design to finishing the material.
In addition to the finished shawls, pictures and space textiles, I also design and make silks tailored to individual needs, for specific spaces and special occasions.
